Interested in voting by mail?
Registered voters in Fort Bend County may qualify to vote by mail if you:

Will be outside the county during early voting and on Election Day (ballot must be mailed outside the county).

Have a disability.

Are 65 or older.

Expect to give birth within 3 weeks before or after Election Day.

Are confined in jail (but not finally convicted of a felony).

How to Apply:
You must submit a written, signed (pen & ink) application that includes:

Your registered voting address.

Your TX Driver’s License number, TX Personal ID number, or Election Certificate Number (not your VUID).

The mailing address for your ballot (with explanation if different).

The reason you qualify.
If you need help completing the application, your assistant must sign. If you cannot sign due to disability or illiteracy, a witness may sign for you.

Deadlines & Timing:

Applications must be received no later than Monday, April 20.

All voted ballots that are returned on or before Election Day will be counted.
