In April 2025, Dustin Holub gave a presentation to City Council for City Hall Landscaping for his Eagle Scout Project. With a thoughtful evaluation of the area, Dustin created a plan and organized his team to put his plan to fruition. All plants are Texas natives, and the mulch is recycled rubber. Dustin and his crew spent 100 hours of labor working on the removing rocks and reworking the front entry walking path as well as the garden box around the town Center Sign. With all the work completed, and very pleased with the final presentation, the City Council presented Dustin Holub with a Certificate of Appreciation on September 02, 2025.  As of October, the plants have taken root and are growing wonderfully. A big Thank You to Dustin and his team from Troop 990, for your outstanding work.
